Yes, it's been 4 years since my first blog post. I spent some of this afternoon reading old blog posts and thinking about things that have changed and things that haven't. I am pleased to see that my knitting has, generally, gotten better over the years, more interesting, some lace and I generally like the things that I knit more so that's good enough for me.
I haven't ever noted on my blog that it was the anniversary because I never remembered the date. But today I noticed it as I was digging out pictures to put my old FOs on Ravelry. So, in blogland tradition, I am going to offer a little gift on my blog. Leave me a comment, say hello (hopefully I'll get to meet a few lurkers) by the 24th of May. I'll draw a random number and send the winner a skein of yarn. What is still to be determined but it will, I promise, be nice.
