Just watching TV and I came across this ad for Shreddies, a breakfast cereal.
Clearly there are already some people a bit upset about the way it portrays knitting and the people who knit. Personally I am a huge fan of Shreddies (they were a treat when I was a kid) so I love the idea that my cereals were knitted for me.
Posted by Amelia at June 9, 2007 01:24 PM...I'm not sure those Nanas are ones knitting because when you see their faces you don't see thir hands but you still see their needles (at an unnatural angle). When you see the knitting you don't see their faces...I think we're being HAD, shreddies aren't knitted by Nanas but probably in a sweat shop in a third world country.
