My silence over the last week may have alerted you to both of the following:
- Work has been insane over the last week and there have been WAY more late nights at the office than I would like (hey, this is valuable knitting time being eaten up!)
- I didn't do half of the finishing that I said I would.
I did finish the cashmere scarf, blocked and sewed the ends in so I am a bit proud of that.

And I did finish the front of Bea.

And start to block her. Unfortunately only the fronts and back would fit on the blocking board so I didn't actually get around to blocking the sleeves. One week later and I still haven't blocked them.

As for the rest. Well, I thought about finishing some of it. And I am about to sit down and work on the Debbie Bliss ski sweater. So there's some progress at least.
You've gotten tonnes done!! Bea and that DB ski sweater have me green with envy...such nice projects.

Posted by: SANDRA at February 21, 2007 05:08 PMLovely scarf - great colour too. I never get through all I plan to. I just think of these plans as having 'stretch targets'!! :)
Posted by: susan at February 20, 2007 11:48 AMI think you're doing a great job zooming through those UFOs! My knitting time has been equally hampered, though by an in-law visit, so I feel your pain.
Bea is going to be just phenomenal. What pattern is the cashmere scarf, again?
Posted by: Amy at February 19, 2007 02:27 PMEverything is looking wonderful! Love the scarf!
Posted by: Adrienne at February 19, 2007 02:03 PMYour Bea looks so beautiful on your board and I love your scarf. Since your last post about the cashmere yarn I am so tempted to buy some of it, too, still can´t decide whether for socks or such a beautiful scarf.
Posted by: Krawuggl at February 19, 2007 10:31 AMoooh bea! looking very, very good! so does the cashmere scarf. hope you got some rest over the weekend as well.
Posted by: kris at February 19, 2007 10:23 AMOh what a pain that work is getting in the way of knitting. I hope things calm down for you soon.
The scarf looks lovely and cushiony. I bet it'll be a pleasure to wear. I'm also looking forward to seeing the finished ski sweater. Your fair isle work is great and as you've already been told, blocking cures a multitude of little inconsistencies. Is it knitted in one piece or seamed?

Posted by: Mandella at February 18, 2007 10:53 PMSo sorry to hear that work is eating into your valuable finishing/knitting time. But doesn't Bea on the blocking board look so tantalising... I am looking forward to seeing it all put together into one garment!
