I owe you all a long post with lovely pictures of my weekend in Portugal. In the meantime I have this picture for you:

I can't resist this picture and just have to come out of the lurking ether to say clearly Phyllis' Nana, your grandmother and my grandma bought the same copy of Woman Weekly (circa 1972 ??). My Grandma's was lemon and blue - YUM. Enough to give crochet (I think it was crocheted ?) a bad name !

Amelia, get out of my Nana's bathroom! And don't stop to take her Red Heart yarn with you. ;-)
Thanks for the fun photo it reminds me so much of my grandmother. Except her doll was pink and purple. Hmmmm, maybe that explains my problem with color coordination.

The look on that doll's face is quite menacing. It reminds me of that doll in the American horror film some years ago (Chucky?), quite disconcerting. I think we all ought to be careful what we say about the doll, just in case!

In Erika Knight's new book which is supposed to be cutting edge, there is a bottle cover in the shape of a poodle complete with poms-poms - so why can't we have a crinoline lady toilet roll cover? More power to your garnny's elbow!!

Hi ! I think it is the most lovely, pretty tiolet roll I ever seen in my life.

Have you buy any yarn in Portugal ?

Happy day !
